Beas Capital is led by Rahul Mehta, a seasoned investment professional with a distinguished track record. Most recently, Rahul helmed the George Kaiser Family Foundation in India, where he developed and implemented a pioneering long-term investment model tailored to the unique dynamics of Indian public markets. This model was shaped under the guidance of George Kaiser, one of the world's most influential philanthropists and the Chairman of BOK Financial.

LEADERSHIP
Rahul Mehta is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Beas Capital. He brings over 22 years of expertise in the financial services industry, spanning across both the United States and India. Prior to founding Beas, he was the Director and Country Head for the Argonaut Private Equity (George Kaiser Family Foundation) in India for 10 years, where he developed a unique model of long-term investing in Indian public equities using a private equity approach.
Prior to GKFF, Rahul was a Principal at Blue River Capital where he sourced and executed transactions across a variety of sectors including financial services, manufacturing, and media. He has also held positions at ChrysCapital, one of India’s largest independent private equity firms, Greenhill & Co. in New York, and Merrill Lynch in its investment banking division.
Rahul graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from Cornell University and holds an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, USA. He is also a visiting faculty member for the Entrepreneurship department at Ashoka University, India’s premier liberal arts university.
